The Blueprint

Vancouver
The Blueprint.

A Plan for the Working Class. Funded by the Few. Built for the Many.

For over a century, City Hall has followed the same old script. Bright Future Vancouver is presenting a plan built for the night shift, the trade worker, the renter, the small business owner, and the local family who still believe this city can belong to them.

134 YEARS OF HISTORY IS ABOUT TO BREAK.

VANCOUVER IS NO LONGER FOR SALE. IT'S FOR US.

Inside the blueprint

  • Five pillars with actionable, working class policy.
  • Funding that asks the few to pay their fair share.
  • A clear timeline for delivery and accountability.

The Five Pillars

Built for the people
who stay.

The Roots Project turns part of rent into protected equity, builds permanent affordable rental homes, protects starter homes from bulk buyers, and requires family-sized, pet-inclusive housing where public value helps create the project.

  • 20% of monthly rent is diverted into a protected Roots Equity Trust that belongs to the renter.
  • A first-term target of 2,000 Roots Project homes approved or in the pipeline.
  • Local Buyers First protects starter homes with a 0% corporate bulk-buying cap and a 60-day priority window.
